|Comments||A-ho Brothers & Sisters, Greetings, prayers and respects from this traditional Northern Cheyenne man. I pray this letter finds you and yours strong and at peace on the red road.
My name is Craig Tannhills Robinson, born and raised in Lame Deer, MT and am a full blood. I was adopted at age 15 bya California family and have lived in the Sacramento, CA area for the last 25 years. I am 42 years young (3/05), 6' tall, 200 lbs, with black hair, green eyes, and lots of traditional artwork on my body. I am currently a firefighter for the CA Dept of Forestry. This will be my 4th season and I will be seekingn a career with the Federal Forestry Service, hopefully out of the state of California.
I have @ 14 months left to serve on a 5 year sentence for what they said was a dangerous weapon but in fact was a work tool in my truck, it was hard to loose everything I had worked so hard to build, but I do believe the Creator has a purpose for everything, and I still have my dreams so all things are possible. A-Ho.
I am blessed and honored to be a water pourer for my circle here. These brothers are my family and I try to share and teach as much as I can, the old lodge songs and ceremonies. It's hard with so many young brothers coming into the system with so little knowledge and understanding of the ways.
I've given a lot of thought as to what to say in this letter, I'm not sure I'm coming across in the right way or what to share that will move a good sister to reach out to me. I do know that I am a honest, true hearted man, university educated, single and handsome, who is seeking a good woman to be my companion, best friend, and partner in life and love. I welcome and will be honored by any contact with Elders, brothers and sisters across this Turtle Back Island. If you are passionate, spiritual, and true hearted, I look forward to hearing from you.
Hopefully something I've shared will touch your spirit and move you to reach out. I will be waiting.
Take care of yourself and stand strong,
Try to smile and be at peace.
Know that you are in my daily prayers to Tunkashila and my weekly sufferings in the inipi.
A-Ho Miy Tonkwaasa ... Respectfully, Craig.
